About Confident Music

Confident Music
is a production facility, publishing house, record company located in Stockholm, Sweden
which releases 2-3 albums annually. Our focus is on Modern Rock and Pop but sometimes we do
things completely different. We prefer to work with music and artists we like. It's also very important
for us to enjoy ourselves and have fun!

None of our endeavors would be possible without the help of good friends. We'd like to thank
the following people for their help and contributions: Tina Jeppsson, Mia Lorentzson, Staffan Svensson,
Gunilla Strömberg, Hjalmar Leissner, Frank Sanderson and everyone else who has
given of themselves and their time!

Timeline: Confident Continuity
After over 15 years of touring and studio work all over the world, freelance bassist and Chapman
Stick player Jan Hellman decided to start his own independent record company. After construction
was complete on the recording studio, Confident Music released it's first albums in the winter of 2006.
The first was the debut album from the group Attleruds and second was a triple-album
from composer Gunnar Wennersberg.

Inspiration and vision...
The biggest inspiration has been the American singer Ani Difranco whose independent attitude
and dedication to her vision has been a key element of her career. We admire these qualities and
have made them a fundamental part of our concept for Confident Music. Our primary vision is to
provide artists with an unrestricted alternative to the indifferent machinery of global record
companies. We strive to preserve creative integrity and offer a relaxed and friendly environment
where inspiration and spontaneity can flourish. This vision is set within the backdrop
of a professional, world-class recording facility and personal, open-minded record label.
